Joan Livingston is a former longtime journalist, who led newspapers in Taos, New Mexico and Western Massachusetts. So far, she has published 19 novels for adult and young readers. Most are set in the fictional hill towns of Western Mass., including the Isabel Long Mystery Series. After her publisher closed, Joan became a hybrid author — Bloodhound Books took on some books and the rest she self-published, including handling the formatting and promotion herself.
